Katharine Gibbs School Recognized Among Leading Associate Degree Producers Nationwide
Criminal Justice program earns recognition
from Community College Week magazine
MELVILLE, NY (July 30, 2007) - Katharine Gibbs School was acknowledged by Community College Week magazine - in lists issued July 9, 2007 - as one of the top producers of criminal justice associate degrees among two-year institutions. The recognition came in a special report on the nation's "Top 100 Associate Degree Producers."
Specifically, the Melville-based school was included in Community College Week's "Criminal Justice" category, placing 43rd overall.
"Our listing in Community College Week reflects the tremendous commitment of our faculty and staff in assisting students to graduate from this exciting program," says Steve Kashkin, school president. "We're deeply committed to providing our students with an outstanding education and excellent student support services, and I believe being singled out by this publication is an acknowledgement of our efforts."
